Blessings up the wazoo!

It's easy to take things for granted. Things we get do on an every day basis. The people we see. The place we call home. The freedoms we have.

We can go about our day, complain about traffic, whine about chores, get mad at our spouse or kids. But we should all take the time to really look at how blessed we are.

I am not saying I don't do it. I do. But I look at my life and realize how good I have it. How awesome our God is. How much He loves us! It is awe inspiring. He is so incredible, and it makes me want to strive to be more like Him. As we all should.

So here I sit, thinking about how blessed I am to have two wonderful kids that mostly get along, happily do chores, and make me laugh daily. How blessed I am to have a husband that supports my family, is a godly man, and is an awesome friend, husband, and father. How blessed I am to have a house, and money to improve our house. How blessed I am to have be able to have my brother live with me, how strong a Christian he has become, and I get to see him grow in Christ every day! How blessed I am to be able to stay at home with my children, coach Cheerleading, and not have to work outside of the home on a regular basis. How blessed we are to have not one, but two vehicles, and are able to afford the repairs when needed. How blessed we are to live in a country where freedom is always the number one priority, and I am able to worship my God openly and freely. How blessed I am to be able to sing His praises and share His word. How blessed we are to be healthy and when sick, to be healed in the name of Jesus.

I know I complain. My kids can get on my nerves sometimes. My husband can make me crazy at times. My house constantly has to be cleaned. My brother seems to never listen to me. Staying home can make me stir crazy. Cheering can be overwhelming at times. The cars never seem to stay clean inside or out. There always seems to be a budget crisis. You fear for the people who don't know Jesus and may never be reached.

But you look at life. And it isn't bad at all. It is actually pretty fricken amazing. :)

Thank you Jesus.
